CURRY, TANDOOR & A LITTLE MUMTAZ MAGIC

Our menu brings together classic Indian recipes, quality ingredients and carefully balanced spices. From creamy chicken tikka masala and slow-cooked lamb rogan josh to fresh tandoori grills and aromatic biryanis, every dish is prepared with the flavour and warmth that Mumtaz is known for.

Mumtaz takes its name from the empress the Taj Mahal was built for. Since 1980 we have cooked in that tradition on the front line of Puerto Banús: curries built over hours, whole fish and lamb straight onto the charcoal, biryani sealed under pastry and opened at the table. The marina has changed around us for forty years. The tandoor has not.

Whether you are staying in Puerto Banus, walking around the port, or looking for Indian food with marina views in Marbella, Mumtaz is easy to reach and perfectly placed for lunch, dinner, groups and relaxed meals with family.

Red Pepper feels like a hidden gem. We’ve been to a lot of Greek places, but this one stands out — everything from the appetizers to the espresso at the end was exceptional. You can tell they put heart into every detail. It’s the kind of place you recommend to friends without hesitation.
